The National Swimming Administrative Center of the General Administration of Sport of China announced the list of athletes selected for diving, swimming, marathon swimming and synchronized swimming events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on June 18. Chen Yiwen and Wang Xue'er, both are from Zhongshan Sports School, have been chosen for the diving and swimming events respectively, and they will represent China to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Born in 1999, Chen Yiwen began her diving career at Zhongshan Sports School. In recent years, she has achieved outstanding results in the international arena. In March 2024, Chen Yiwen claimed the women's 3m springboard title at the World Aquatics Diving World Cup 2024 in Berlin, Germany, with a score of 356.40 points.
