Lihe Plaza, located on Zhongshan No.3 Road, is a key fire safety unit in Zhongshan. Its fire monitoring center works as the "brain" for high-rise fire prevention. In a small room less than 80 square meters, fire risks are comprehensively monitored with the intelligent firefighting system, and a variety of functions and data such as risk perception, remote communications and platform monitoring are used to monitor and warn of potential fire situations

"Our automatic fire alarm system has 24-hour real-time monitoring. Once a risk is detected, the specific location can be found out in 30 seconds," said the head of fire safety for Lihe Property Management Co Ltd.

In order to ensure timely prevention of any fires, Zhongshan has comprehensively promoted the construction of mini fire stations and smart fire prevention and control systems for commercial complexes since 2016. At present, all 72 major large-scale commercial complexes in Zhongshan have set up mini fire stations, and each of them has built their own fire prevention and control systems to achieve a "5-minute fire-fighting circle".

The established mini fire stations in these commercial complexes are equipped with firefighting equipment, volunteer firefighters, control room watchmen, etc. They also regularly carry out fire prevention inspections, fire-fighting drills, public fire safety campaigns and so on.
