On May 11, the Guangdong Department of Culture and Tourism announced the first set of Guangdong Historical and Cultural Trails, with a total of 64 selected routes. Among these trails, three are from Zhongshan, namely, Sun Yat-sen's Hometown Historical and Cultural Trail, Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Business City Historical and Cultural Trail, and Zhongshan Pearl River Column Historical and Cultural Trail, involving 32 related historical and cultural and tourist sites in the city.
The Sun Yat-sen's Hometown Historical and Cultural Trail: starts from the Former Residence of Dr Sun Yat-sen, passing through the 1911 Revolution Memorial Park, Sun's Family Ancestral Hall of Zuobu Village, Ou's Family Ancestral Hall of Zuobu Village, Ruan's Family Ancestral Hall of Zuobu Village, and ends at Chen's Family Ancestral Hall of Chadong Village.
The Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Business City Historical and Cultural Trail: starts from Caobian Village of South District, passing through Shachong Village of South District, Liaohou Village, Zhan's Garden, Ma Zaiming Memorial Hall, Gongjian Tiecheng Liang Qichang Memorial Hall, Guo Peixun Memorial Hall, Yang Xianyi's Ancestral Residence, and ends at South District Local Chronicle Hall.
The Zhongshan Pearl River Column Historical and Cultural Trail: starts from Nanqiao Village, passing through the Gu's Family Ancestral Hall, the Former Site of Zhongshan Anti-Japanese Yiyong Brigade's Clinic, the Former Site of Nanpan Zhongshun Guerrilla's War Office & Political Department and Zhongqu District Column's Political Department, Shiqi-Macao Ancient Road, Xiaoyaogu Ecotourism Site, Dajian Mountain Forest Park, Guinan Village, Guhe Village, Benevolent Memorial Archway, Yongmo Village, the Former Residence of Zheng Guanying, Tianzhang Pavilion, Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort, Luo Sanmei Mountain, Quanyan Hot Spring Resort, and ends at Xiaolanghuan Park.
