In the first quarter, Zhongshan's top 5 trade partners included the US, EU, ASEAN, China's Hong Kong and Japan.

Zhongshan exported 37.48 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products, with an increase of 59.5% from last year and accounting for 78% of Zhongshan's total export value.

In March, Zhongshan's import and export value stood at 20.78 billion yuan, with an increase of 29.8%. The export value reached 16.57 billion yuan, with an increase of 31.2%, and the import value was 4.21 billion yuan, with an increase of 24.3%.
