A total of 11 key industrial projects began construction at West Industrial Park's Lighting Capital Smart Manufacturing Base in Guzhen Town on February 25.
The Lighting Capital Smart Manufacturing Base is planned to cover a land area of 20 hectares. A total of 11 new key projects have been introduced, with a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan and an estimated annual output value of 4.6 billion yuan.
These 11 projects mainly involve high-end equipment manufacturing, R&D and production of new materials, the intelligent light switch industry, product design, microchip manufacturing, and etc.
Among them, the Shidun Intelligent Light Switch and Socket R&D and Production Base project, with a total investment of 370 million yuan and an output value of 850 million yuan, will develop as a benchmark project integrating R&D, production and sales for high-end intelligent switch and socket manufacturing.
It is reported that there will be another 2 key projects beginning in the base soon. In the future, a total of 4 billion yuan will be invested into the Lighting Capital Smart Manufacturing Base, whose total output value will exceed 10 billion yuan. Relying on the WIP, Guzhen Town will become a main battlefield for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
