The Sinoscience Fullcryo Comprehensive Gas Island project held the ground-breaking ceremony on June 15 at Gaoping Chemical Industrial Park in Sanjiao Town.
Funded by Beijing Sinoscience Fullcryo Technology, Sinoscience Fullcryo Comprehensive Gas Island covers an area of about 62 mu with a total investment of 400 million yuan. Production lines for hydrogen energy supply, helium gas subpackaging, purified air products and electric gas, as well as office buildings and related supporting facilities will be built.
The project will be completed and put into operation by the end of 2022. It is expected to reach an output value of 744 million yuan and generate a tax revenue of 37.2 million yuan per year within three years after operation.
The project will be the first comprehensive gas island in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area covering helium, hydrogen energy, electric gas and air separation units. Upon completion, it will also become the first domestic helium supply base in the Greater Bay Area. Additionally, it is the first industrial gas source and the first hydrogen energy supply base in Zhongshan, which can provide industrial gas to all areas in Zhongshan, relieve the hydrogen shortage in Zhongshan, and satisfy surrounding areas' hydrogen energy supply demands.
