The Zhongshan Semiconductor Industry Promotion Conference was held at Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort on May 18, with outstanding entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and friends from all walks of life attending.

Six projects were signed with an investment of over 11 billion yuan. They are Lepower intelligent lighting R&D and production base, new energy battery precision structural parts production base, Wanwu international chip production base, Zoina Hi-Tech information industrial park, CGN pumped storage power station, and Hengfeng Gudu intelligent manufacturing park.

The Wanwu international chip production base has commenced construction already. With a planned investment of 1 billion yuan, the project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase will build a chip manufacturing base for printing supplies chip and consumer electronics products, which will be a high-tech enterprise with an annual output value of 1 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of 30 million yuan. The second phase will build chip packaging production lines.

Currently, Zhongshan invites investment globally for 23 projects, including the Zhongshan Semiconductor Industrial Park in Sanxiang Town, which will focus on semiconductors, integrated circuits, and other chip segments.
