Zhongzhi Pharmaceutical Group, which is located in Zhongshan's National Health Technology Park, has recently passed the evaluation by Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD), Health Canada. Its production of cell wall-broken decoction pieces used in traditional Chinese medicine has met the Canada's Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements on overseas Natural Health Product (NHP) production site and obtained a Foreign Site Reference Number (FSRN) issued by Health Canada.
This means Zhongzhi Pharmaceutical Group's products that have previously been registered in Canada and obtained the Natural Product Number (NPN), such as astragalus cell wall-broken particles, can now be exported to Canada.
Zhongzhi Pharmaceutical Group's cell wall-broken decoction pieces are deep processed by modern, patented technologies on the basis of retaining the whole composition of the original decoction pieces. This not only realizes innovation in the standardization of the production of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, but also better meets Canada's requirements on the control range of product content testing indexes and product safety.
