Famous Hong Kong director Lee Lik Chi joined hands with Guangdong Zhenshijie Clothing Co Ltd, a clothing enterprise based in Zhongshan's Shaxi Town, to design costumes that pay homage to classic movies. The two sides formally signed a cooperation agreement on September 13 and launched the first batch of costumes specially themed on one of his films "Flirting Scholar".

Lee, originally from Dongguan City, now lives in Zhongshan's Sanxiang Town. "Many people from Hong Kong now choose to live in Zhongshan. I like the environment here in Zhongshan and meet many clothing entrepreneurs in Shaxi. I know Shaxi is well-known for the casual clothing industry domestically and even globally, therefore I come up with an idea to combine its abundant industrial resources with film elements to develop self-owned brands", says Lee, adding that he is confident about the development prospects of Shaxi's clothing industry.

Lee hopes the cooperation will bring more opportunities to the film-television industry. He also expects more artists, directors and singers who now work and live in the Greater Bay Area could come and seek new business opportunities in Shaxi Town to promote the development of the clothing industry.
