The 30MW hydrogen gas turbine, independently developed by Wuxi Mingyang Hydrogen Combustion Power Technology Co, a subsidiary of Mingyang Group, rolled off the production line on December 26.

This is the world's first 30MW-level pure hydrogen gas turbine, equipped with Mingyang's self-developed "Jupiter I" pure hydrogen combustion chamber, can achieve 100% pure hydrogen combustion and true "zero carbon emission".

The newly completed hydrogen gas turbine is specifically designed for the desert, gobi, and wilderness areas and large base projects. The maximum hydrogen consumption per hour is 38,000 cubic meters, and it can consume 10,000 tons of green hydrogen every year, which is equivalent to the annual hydrogen consumption of 50,000 hydrogen fuel cell passenger vehicles. It can generate nearly 200 million kWh of electricity annually.
