Undertaken by Jianglong Shipbuilding Co Ltd, the construction of Zhoushan Putuo Huandao Passenger Transport Co Ltd's 45-meter passenger ship lately began on Zhupai Island located in the southwest of Zhongshan's Shenwan Town.

The ship with a steel-aluminum composite structure measures 45 meters in length, 9.2 meters in width and 3.4 meters in depth. It is powered by double engines and two propellers, with a design speed of 16.0 knots and a range of 750 nautical miles.

The ship has three levels of cabins, and it can hold 251 passengers. It has spacious and comfortable cabins and large glass portholes that can provide excellent natural lighting and a good view. The top floor is a sightseeing deck, making it a modern cruise ship for both tourism and passenger transportation.

Headquartered in Shenwan Town Jianglong Shipbuilding was founded in 2003 and has become a leading company in China's small and medium-sized high-performance ship sector.

Jianglong Shipbuilding's 1,000-ton advanced marine ship smart manufacturing base located on Zhupai Island has been put into operation. It will become a production base for new energy ships, high-speed marine law enforcement ships, mini cruises and high-end ro-ro passenger ships.
