The revised version of the "Opinions on the Implementation of Supporting Policies for Zhongshan Crowd Innovation & Finance Street (exposure draft)" is recently released. According to the Opinions, Zhongshan plans to set aside a maximum of 20 million yuan as the reward and compensation fund to support companies which settle in the Zhongshan Crowd Innovation & Finance Street (CIFS) every year.

The applicable area mainly covers the Holiday Park, the Summit financial center, as well as the business district around the intersection of Qiwan Avenue and Zhongshan Road in East District. Financial and quasi-financial institutions in this area will be eligible for the rewards.

The rewards are divided into five categories, namely entry reward, business contribution reward, social service reward, talent reward and excellent rating reward.

Specifically, the entry reward is divided into six types. According to the Opinions, the new corporate financial institutions whose place of registration is located at the CIFS shall be rewarded at 0.2% of its paid-in registered capital, and the maximum amount shall not exceed 5 million yuan.
