On February 7, the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday, Zhongshan mayor Xiao Zhanxin presided over an executive meeting of the municipal government to study the policies directed at benefiting the development of enterprises.

The meeting deliberated and approved the "Zhongshan's Nine New Policies to Benefit Enterprises for the New Year" to encourage enterprises to resume production by strengthening incentives, extending time limits, optimizing services and etc:

Second, strengthen employment security service;

Third, encourage enterprises to recruit new employees;

Fourth, implement measures to support enterprises and stabilize employment;

Fifth, increase the support for enterprises in wholesale, retail, accommodation and food industries;

Sixth, extend the expiration date of Spring Festival consumption coupons and "red envelopes";

Seventh, strengthen epidemic prevention and control measures for imported goods;

Eighth, strengthen the financing service for enterprises;

Ninth, speed up resumption of work of construction companies.

The meeting also discussed post-Spring Festival epidemic prevention and control measures.

The "Zhongshan's Nine New Policies to Benefit Enterprises for the New Year" were approved by the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and issued on the same day.
