The Detailed Implementation Rules for the Identification and Reward of Digital and Intelligent Demonstration Manufacturing Enterprises of Zhongshan was recently promulgated.

The Detailed Implementation Rules include 6 chapters with a total of 20 articles. The document specifies the funding scope, funding requirements, identification requirements and application process and requirements for the identification and reward of digital and intelligent demonstration manufacturing enterprises.

It mentions that by 2025, Zhongshan will develop 40 digital and intelligent demonstration factories and 60 digital and intelligent demonstration workshops, and promote 40 enterprises to carry out industrial Internet demonstration projects.

Demonstration factories and workshops will be identified through selection:

No more than 10 demonstration factories will be identified every year, and each will be given a maximum one-time reward of 5 million yuan.

No more than 15 demonstration workshops will be identified every year, and each will be given a one-time reward of no more than 2 million yuan.

No more than 10 industrial Internet demonstration projects will be selected every year, and each will be given a maximum one-time reward of 1 million yuan.

At present, Zhongshan, together with China Academy of Industrial Internet (Guangdong Branch), China Electronic Product Reliability and Environmental Testing Research Institute (or the fifth electronic research institute of MIIT), Guangdong Alliance of Industrial Internet and Zhongshan Alliance of Life Cycle Public Technology Service Platform, has established the "Standardization Working Group for Digital and Intelligent Transformation and Development of Manufacturing Industry of Zhongshan", who will play the role as a gatekeeper of the selection of demonstration enterprises in Zhongshan by establishing standards on digital management, intelligent manufacturing, resource sharing and network collaboration.
