Loaded with containers of household appliances and furniture, the "Huiwan 016" ship set sail from the international container terminal of Shenwan Port towards Shenzhen's Yantian Port on May 21.

The goods will be promptly transferred and exported to the rest of the world at Yantian Port. This marks the official launch of the combined port route between Zhongshan's Shenwan and Shenzhen's Yantian.

This is the first Shenzhen-Zhongshan combined port route Zhongshan opens this year. So far, there are 9 of these Shenzhen-Zhongshan combined port routes.

Shenwan Port is located in the southern part of Zhongshan. Currently, it has developed a barge route network with major ports within the Greater Bay Area, including Guangzhou's Nansha, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen's Western port area and Yantian. Earlier in March 2023, the combined port route between Shenwan and Shenzhen's was launched.
