The artistic lecture Piazzolla, Father of Tango will be held in the mini theater of Zhongshan Culture and Art Center at 3pm Jan. 21 when Wang Changkui, piano professor of Music Department, Normal College, Shenzhen University and master tutor, will tell the bumpy story of Piazzolla, the father of Tango and the world’s foremost composer of tango music, and play the works of Piazzolla. The tickets are free of charge, available in the booking desk, and anyone who is interested can get at most 2 tickets. The first comes, the first is served.
In addition, the quintet concert Acquainting Piazzolla will be staged in the mini-theater of Zhongshan Culture and Art Center at 8pm, Feb. 1 when the chamber music composition TakeFive active in Shanghai stage will reproduce the tango classics in the quintet way Piazzolla composed at the very beginning.
