Li Xi, secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee recently visited Zhongshan to conduct investigation in communities, enterprises, and new urban districts.

Bokai Community located in Torch Development Zone has 25,000 permanent residents and 8 Party branches under the community Party committee. Li met with community Party members, cadres and the masses to learn about the plans, methods, content and results of Party history education campaigns.

Li visited New Technology and Finance Town and the Zhongshan Institute for Drug Discovery, the Institutes of Drug Discovery and Development, CAS in Tsuihang New District, and listened to reports on the planning and development THND, the development of transportation infrastructure, and the implementation of major projects in Zhongshan, and inspected incubators, laboratories and R&D centers to understand the development situation of the biomedical industry.
