"As long as people feel the food with heart, anyone can become the god of cookery." This is one of the classic lines of Stephen Chow's movie The God of Cookery. Lik-Chi Lee, director of the film, was invited to the launch ceremony.

Zhongshan is attracting an increasing number of people from Hong Kong and Macao because of convenient traffic and tasty delicacies, Lee said. "I often come to Zhongshan. Many restaurants here boast an elegant environment and serve excellent food. There are also many time-honored restaurants in Zhongshan. I hope more friends in the Greater Bay Area can visit Zhongshan to enjoy the taste of life."

"One of the highlights of this contest is calling for videos created in English. We hope to pick some 'International Spokespersons for Zhongshan Food', showing Zhongshan food to the rest of the world in fluent English," said Guo Daiyun, Deputy Director General of the Zhongshan Foreign Affairs Bureau, one of the organizers, adding that the contest is held to attract people across the GBA, the country, and even the world to visit Zhongshan and promote the city to the globe through delicacies.

From today to February 29, 2024, you may film and upload your Zhongshan food-related videos to the Zhongshan Plus app. "International Spokespersons for Zhongshan Food", "Zhongshan Food Ambassadors" and other winners will be selected, and their excellent works will be showcased to worldwide audience.
