Prevention and Control of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic

To prevent and control the epidemic on a regular basis, efficiently contain the spread of the virus, and safeguard the lives and health of all people, upon the approval of the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters of Zhongshan City, we issue this notice as a follow-up to the Notice of Carrying out Epidemic Prevention and Control on a Regular Basis issued on June 2.

1. The number of people received in venues including karaoke, cinemas, gyms, indoor swimming facilities, bars, and bath centers shall be limited to no more than 75% of the venue’s reception capacity. You are advised to order takeaways in restaurants. The number of dine-in guests shall be no more than 75% of the reception capacity. Each private room shall hold no more than 10 people. All training institutions shall stop offline lectures.

2. Large-scale nucleic acid tests are carried out in Tsuihang New District, Huangpu Town, Sanjiao Town, Minzhong Town, Dongfeng Town, and Nantou Town. People in the above areas shall try to stay at home and participate in no gatherings. Entertainment venues, indoor culture and sports venues, wholesale markets (farm produce markets excluded), student and child care centers shall close. No dine-in is allowed in restaurants in the above areas. Traffic control is carried out in some passages.

3. We advise all people to enhance awareness to protect yourselves. Keep the habits of wearing masks, washing hands often, cleaning frequently, and using serving chopsticks and strictly follow other personal protection guidance. Monitor your health every day. In the case of fever and coughing, please go to the fever clinic of your nearby medical institution immediately and report your epidemiological history truthfully. Wear mask during your whole trip to the medical institution and avoid using public transportation. If you have met people from medium or high risk regions or traveled to cities with epidemic cases within the last 14 days, please report to your local village/community committee immediately and follow the health management measures of the “three-person workgroup” of your town or district.
