Mass testing expanded to all residents in Zhongshan

Through concerted efforts, epidemic prevention and control situation in Zhongshan city has been stable. However, confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections occurred in some surrounding cities recently. In light of the current situation, to effectively curb the spread of COVID-19, the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters of Zhongshan City has decided to conduct a city-wide nucleic acid testing for all residents. We hereby notify arrangements as follows:

1. Nucleic acid test arrangement

City-wide nucleic acid tests will be conducted with the following schedule:

●June 6 to 7: Minzhong Town, Sanjiao Town, Huangpu Town, Dongfeng Town, Nantou Town, Torch Development Zone, and Tsuihang New District.

● June 7 to 9: Shiqi District, East District, West District, South District ,Wuguishan District, Xiaolan Town, Gangkou Town, and Guzhen Town.

●June 8 to 10: Dongsheng Town, Shaxi Town, Tanzhou Town , Henglan Town, Fusha Town, Nanlang Town, Sanxiang Town, Banfu Town, Dachong Town and Shenwan Town.

2. Monitoring personal health

All residents are advised to follow the notification and instructions of community committee and conduct health monitoring. If your GHC code turns yellow, or if you have a fever or cough, sore throat, and other symptoms, please update your health condition to community committee, go to the nearest fever clinic and DO NOT visit nucleic acid testing site for the moment. If you are vaccinated, please receive nucleic acid test 24 hours after the vaccination.

3. Instructions at testing sites

For residents who go to testing stations, please bring with you your ID card or other effective documents,arrive at designated testing station according to the set schedule in an orderly manner, and follow the instruction of community staff. Please show your GHC code and wear a mask. You should also maintain social distance of ONE meter, and minimize your conversation in a queue. If you have any questions, please contact our staff and they will be happy to help.

4. Minimize travelling and visiting each other

Residents should take proper personal protection measures, avoid gatherings, wear masks, wash hands regularly, and use serving chopsticks. Residents should also reduce unnecessary traveling and practice social distancing. For residents who have already been tested, you can check the Wechat applet YUESHENGSHI (粵省事) for results.
