The newly revised Pharmaceutical Administration Law and the newly promulgated Vaccine Administration Law (hereinafter referred to as both laws) were implemented since December, imposing higher penalties on black dens that produce and sell drugs without licenses and the production of fake drugs, according to the Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation. The Vaccine Administration Law is a newly enacted law, and the Pharmaceutical Administration Law has also undergone major amendments. For the regulatory authorities, the most important task for implementing both laws is to carry out publicity campaigns and training. Since late October, Zhongshan has held publicity meetings in 6 districts and trained personnel from over 2,000 pharmacies and supervisors of various townships in the city. Through publicity campaigns and training, people's understanding of both laws has effectively deepened and the foundation has been laid for the successful implementation of both laws.
