Roland Louie (Lei Qingtao), honorary president of the Leong Doo Society in Hawaii, returned to his hometown of Zhongshan with his family and donated a collection of important historical materials that record the development of Leong Doo Society in Hawaii to the Zhongshan Museum.
Roland Louie is an overseas Chinese leader in Hawaii, originally from Zhongshan's Liangdu (now South District). He has long been dedicated to uniting fellows and preserving the culture of overseas Chinese hometown.
This time, he brought back precious materials about the Leong Doo Society in Hawaii and donated them to the Zhongshan Museum. These materials witness the course of struggle of overseas Chinese in Hawaii and the development of Leong Doo Society in Hawaii.
