National Fitness Day falls on Aug.8 every year. To celebrate it, various activities were seen last Sunday and this Monday across the city and towns in Zhongshan.

Last night in National Fitness Square, Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau held a large-scale activity, organizing people to perform taiji, shuttlecock, yoga and dance. Major municipal leader Tang Ying attended the activity.
On Aug.7, a hiking in Western District kicked off the two-week celebration activities for National Fitness Day which will include basketball match and lecture on Chinese medicine.

On Aug.8, a tour de Sanjiao Town attracted 800 cyclists. The 10km biking route provides participants with an excellent opportunity to enjoy the poetic scenery of the countryside as well as the fun of a low carbon life style.
