Zhongshan's first exemplary site of "zero lawsuit community" was recently unveiled in Chengdong Community, Torch Development Zone. The exemplary site will be co-established by the People's Court of Torch Development Zone, the Office of Justice of Zhongshan Port and Chengdong Community.

"Zero lawsuit community" refers to a community with few or even no lawsuit cases by resolving conflicts and disputes at the grassroots level and nip them in the bud under the joint efforts of different parties.

Statistics show that since May 2021, residents of Chengdong Community have filed no more than 10 lawsuits with the court, and there have been no dispute cases related to the real estate sector or enterprises. When disputes occur, community-based judges, community workers and mediators will get involved early to resolve the disputes in time.
