Ercin Gorur is a denim designer from Istanbul, Türkiye. Nine years ago, he moved to Zhongshan, his wife Cherry Chan's hometown. The couple are dedicated to eco-friendly production of denim cloth. They founded the company SIFIRbir in Zhongshan's Qichuang Digital Cultural Industrial Park.

Ercin Gorur says he loves the pace of life here in Zhongshan, and he hopes to contribute to the city's high-quality economic development.

"Zhongshan is really big factory part of denim in China. We can train and cooperate with so many brands here," says Ercin Gorur. "We can create 'Zhongshan Standards' for much more digital, sustainable and eco-friendly production."
