Zhongshan's first park-based electricity generator-grid-power load-power storage (or photovoltaic-energy storage-direct current-flexibility, PEDF) integrated project was put into operation in Zhongshan Centrone Group's office park on January 16, aiming to create a demonstration "micro-grid+" low-carbon park.

The project is constructed by Xingzhong Energy under Zhongshan Centrone Group, with an approximate installed capacity of 81 kilowatts.

During its 25-year life cycle, the project is expected to generate about 800,000 kWh of electricity while significantly reducing coal emissions by around 640 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by over 1,800 tons.

Generator-grid-power load-power storage integration is a new-type power operation mode with overall planning of supply, grid, load and storage of power.

Advanced PEDF technologies are adopted to optimize the direct-current load of photovoltaic power generation, power storage and charging piles in a park as well as to achieve effective, collaborative, integrated operation of power generation, power grid, power load and energy storage systems.

Compared with the traditional AC power schemes, the new scheme increases the energy utilization efficiency by 10-15% and ensures a more stable and reliable power generation process.
